2023 AP Exam Information

Enrolling in AP College Board

By doing the steps below, students will gain access to College Board Resources which includes access to previous exam questions and videos presented by current AP CS A teachers across the United States. (Information is as of Oct 1, 2020.)

It will be Multiple Choice and Free Response.

To take the exam, you'll need to:

  1. Log into (or create) your account at: https://myap.collegeboard.org/login

  • Be sure to select the correct school: North Creek High School

  • You can use this PDF file to help you Join the AP Class Section

  • Use the Join Code provided in class (and posted on Schoology)

  1. Pay for the exam before the due date (still being configured. May be inaccurate)

  • Pay for AP Exam - To take the AP Exam, you must pay the fee. The cost is $104.00.

The AP Exam scores will give you college credit for many schools (about 80-90%) depending on what score you achieve. It is different for every school. You need to inquire with the specific school to understand how to get credit.

A small set of schools won't accept the AP Exam, but will accept the UW Transcript. You can enroll with UW to get UW credit.

The best way to prepare for the exam is to practice with old exams!! Try 2016 and 2017.
